OVTI, a designer of semiconductor image sensors, is recently trading $12.84. OVTI will report EPS after the close of trading on 3/1. AMTR downgraded OVTI to Neutral from Buy and cut its price target to $12 from $16. AMTR say's "we recognize the value-investors see OVTI as a washed out stock on its third leg down, having pulled back from the high made in 5/05. We think this cycle may be more prolonged than past recovery periods as the memory market is likely to put pressure on the image sensor market." OVTI call option volume of 2,567 contracts compares to put volume of 1,832 contracts. OVTI March option implied volatility of 89 is above its 26-week average of 58 according to Track Data, suggesting larger price risks.
