Engelhard EC (news,
chart,
quote) - EC option implied volatility extremely low prior to reports of BF
EC is expected to accept a $5 billion take over offer from German chemical conglomerate BASF-BF reports The Wall Street Journal. BF raised its hostile bid for EC by $1 to $39 on 5/22/06. EC overall option implied volatility of 10 indicated low price fluctuations.
