TIVO's patent trial with DISH started yesterday. LAZA say's "we believe there will be significant volatility in TIVO shares on a decision in the patent infringement case against DISH." TIVO April option implied volatility of 98 is above its 6-month average of 75 and above yesterday's level of 87. TIVO intra-day call option volume of 12,213 contracts compares to intra-day put volume of 1,334 contracts. Increasing option implied volatility on heavy volume suggests larger price fluctuations.
